Lunch

  • It is the responsibility of the band member or his/her family to arrange for lunch accommodations during band camp.

  • It is highly recommended that students bring a lunch rather than leave the Lake Fenton High School campus during this time.

  • Have family dialog regarding leaving campus via the following:

- Walking alone or with someone

- Bicycling alone or with someone

- Riding in a motor vehicle driven by a family member, adult, or student

- Driving a motor vehicle alone or with passengers.

  • The observed mode of transporation used will be assumed to be in accordance with the familys' expectations.

  • Ensure that your child is fully aware of the liabilities involved with each of these modes of transportation.

Supplies

  • It is the responsibility of the individual student to assure that they have the below listed marching band supplies when arriving at Band Camp in August.  Do NOT spend extra money for express shipping.  You will be fine if it arrives a little later.

  • Mr. Gonder does not have an inventory of these supplies on hand for students to purchase on an as needed basis.
Although you may think that you have some of these supplies in your personal possession already, please take inventory to assure that you do.

  • Different lyres will fit differently to specific instruments based on manufacturer.  If your supply list includes a clamp-on, flutist friend, or percussion specific lyre, that is what needs to be purchased.  Stores may recommend other types of fitted lyres and flip folders that will not work for your marching situation.

  • In addition to ordering supplies from your favorite storefront or online supplier, you have the option of using the provided product-specific links to purchase your supplies.
