BAND UNIFORM CAMPAIGN

After 15 years, the time has come to replace our band uniform jackets.
Our band comprises ¼ of the Lake Fenton High School population and acts as a national ambassador for our school community. With a life expectancy of 10 years, our uniforms have surpassed expectations, largely due to our methods of distribution, collection, storage, maintenance, and expectations. Our wool/polyester blend uniforms have stood the test of time, but are undoubtedly showing their age. With the lack of sizing inventory to meet the needs of our anticipated 2018-2019 enrollment and a production time of 6+ months, it is our goal to raise the funds necessary to place an order of 250 uniforms by January 1, 2018!
We have designed new uniform jackets that are made of lighter weight and brighter color poly fabric that is breathable and treated to wick away stains as well as perspiration.
All donations to the uniform campaign will be recognized below and via social media (unless anonymity is requested). Each new jacket costs $200, but DONATIONS OF ANY SIZE ARE APPRECIATED. For every $200 raised through donations and fundraising efforts, we will reduce the number of "uniforms to go!".
Donations to the uniform campaign can be made to the Lake Fenton Music Boosters, which is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization accepting tax-deductible charitable donations. Although every dollar raised toward the goal is a blessing, donations of $100 or more are recognized by the Lake Fenton Music Boosters through recognition on the band website (Sponsors LINK) , in our concert programs, and on a plaque outside of the Lake Fenton High School Auditorium.
OWN A PIECE OF LAKE FENTON BAND HISTORY!
FOR EVERY DONATION OF $60 OR MORE (add $10 if shipping within the United States from Lake Fenton H. S.), the donor will have the option to select 1 pillow of their choice while supplies last with a limit of 2 pillows per qualifying donation ($120 or more + S&H). Donors will be contacted via their provided email address to make a pillow selection.
Pending that we have raised the necessary funds to purchase new jackets, Lake Fenton Band Pillows...

cost $20 each to create (deducted for the donation), with $5 benefiting Clara's Hope Orphan Care Ministry.

will be approximately 12" square and vary slightly in design based on the size of jacket they are constructed.

will be completed by June 2018 using materials from our current uniform jacket inventory.

will be constructed with a black back representative of the pants that were worn with the uniform jacket.

will be stuffed with contents from the remainder of the jacket so all fabric is used in the construction process.
The Lake Fenton Band Pillows are a wonderful and creative keepsake for current and former band families who would like to own a piece of our band's history. We encourage you to personalize these keepsakes (and potential gifts) after they are finished! Depending on how adventurous you'd like to get, we envision names, years in the band, graduation years, leadership positions, and instruments being added with embroidery, patches, screen-printing, or iron-on letters!
